In order to help church denominations in the UK meet carbon reduction, Net Zero, and other targets, certain data will be shared with approved representatives from denominations. The data that will be shared includes: church name and location, building names and types, summarised emissions data from each section of the calculator, summarised Scope data where relevant.

We do not share personal information related to accounts though users can opt-in to share their details which will allow denominational representatives to contact users solely for purposes related to their church's carbon footprint. We also don’t share the data underlying the carbon footprint calculations, e.g. distances travelled, amounts spent, etc.
